The Real Time (RT) software engineer designs, implements, and maintains software systems subject to real-time criteria like guaranteed response within specified time constraints and quality of response to enable entities (human or otherwise) to effectively monitor, process, and react (explicitly or otherwise) to changing parameters of a system or phenomenon. The RT software engineer must have experience with technologies associated with real time data acquisition/control, streaming, processing, storage, and retrieval. Knowledge of one or more messaging protocols and related technologies such as MQTT, RabbitMQ, CoAP, Google Pub/Sub, Cisco XMPP, and Azure Event Hub is required. Programming in PaaS environments and RESTful APIs is desirable, with embedded programming is a plus.
The DevOps Engineer orchestrates continuous delivery and maintenance of software in a 24x7x365 environment. As part of the Schlumberger Technology Organization, the engineer will share responsibility for the success of SaaS solutions provided by Schlumberger for internal and external use. The position reports to the Project Manager.
The Computational Software Engineer is responsible for numerical and analytical modeling, and translating the models into computer programs. Major duties include: engineering modeling; translating models into software code; software development and programming; project planning and management; publishing industry articles and internal reports; analyzing experimental data; providing technical support to field operations personnel; collecting and analyzing field data; interacting with clients and client presentations.
Your main responsibility will be to maintain the current generation of data processing software and to build (structure, develop, program and document) the next generation software. You will carry out research projects to improve existing methods and investigate new technologies. You will work in the following areas:

Review and manage contracts related to field IT support
Understand the IT (corporate network) related needs at Statoil’s onshore field offices, plants and other related locations and proactively work to ensure those needs are met.
