To provide safe and effective supervision in line with Company Procedures ensuring that the work scope is completed in line with the Project and schedule requirements.
Repair, modify, install and dismantle various shipboard hulls, bulkheads or decks. Design and fabricate complex fixtures and jigs. Involves heavy lifting, frequent stooping or bending and possible working assignments in overhead structures, confined spaces or beneath machinery. Strict adherence to safety, quality standards, good housekeeping habits, high level of critical thinking/reading comprehension, and frequent travel/overtime are required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities includes the following.
· Work with customers very early in the sales cycle, generally beginning during the FEED or pre-FEED stages, well before formal requests for quotation are made, so that Oceaneering can help customers to find solutions to field development challenges, and so that Oceaneering can develop competitive advantages.
Establishes & reviews technical requirements/specifications, Engineering scope of work and project execution procedures. Provides technical support and guidance through project life cycle from proposal stage through design, manufacture, assembly, test and installation.
Takes driving role for a work package in a project or FEED study. Ensures that project meets specifications, standards and performance requirements within established budget and schedule. Drives a team of engineers, designers and drafters through project execution. Acts as technical focal point to the internal project team and external customer.
The Project Engineer is responsible for support on small to medium-sized projects and/or individual components of larger more complex projects. Duties include development and validation of equipment and machinery used in the offshore subsea oil well production business.

This role is a part of the Production Services team in Hull, providing services, expertise, assurance and support to the Production and Research teams in order to deliver safe, compliant, reliable operations over the short, medium and long term. The role reports to the Engineering Integrity Manager, within an independent UKAS accredited Inspection department.
The Modelling Department within Refining and Logistics Technology (R_) provides technical support and expertise to BP’s refineries worldwide. The Process Modelling and Simulation team in this department, implements and supports world-class process models within an integrated suite of engineering decision-making tools and processes in support of BP’s Operational Excellence, Advantaged Feedstocks and Refining Margin Expansion Fuels priorities. These tools and processes include Unit Monitoring, Process Modelling, Operator Training Simulators (OTS) and general simulation tools and practices.
This Simulation Senior Engineer role will primarily focus on OTS as well as general simulation activities, including detailed flowsheet development, equipment modelling and dynamic simulation.
