|
Our client, an Oil and Gas Operating Company are looking for a Drilling Logistics Engineer to be based in their offices in Pau, France. The position is offered with a renewable 6 month contract and negotiable daily rate.
Job Overview:
As Drilling Logistics Engineer, you'll be responsible for participating in the preparation of the logistics plan for project focusing on the drilling package.
Responsibilities:
* To work in coordination with the drilling team to prepare the drilling campaign for the project;
* Review the list of equipment & consumables for drilling activities and analyse the supply chain;
* Build Logistics Plan to transport all the equipment and identify any potential bottlenecks
* Propose improvement plan for transportation;
* Identify transportation requirements and needs -
* Issue logistics outline including transport, lifting and storage of all equipment;
* Prepare scope of works for different transportation bidders;
Required Qualifications and Experience:
* Experience in drilling logistics to support drilling activities
* Experience in road transport
* Strong knowledge in drilling equipment & consumables
* Fluent in English
* Good working knowledge of French |
