Our client, an international Chemical Company are looking for a French and English speaking Senior Planning Engineer to be based in their offices in their offices near Mulhouse, France. The position is offered with a 1 year renewable contract and negotiable daily rate.
Job Overview:
As Senior Planning Engineer you'll be responsible for; the definition of procedures relating to planning management and ensure they are abided by for an planned Turnaround on a Chemical site.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure the consolidation of planning and progress for all the project packages
* Develop and maintain the Project Master Plan, milestones and detailed schedules, perform schedule risk analysis, earned value analysis and schedule delay analysis in coordination with PMT staff
* Elaborate project control procedures, such as, planning & scheduling, progress reporting, progress measurement
* Review and provide input to contractors' submitted planning
* Monitor and report schedule forecasting and trending of project plans and validate Contractor progress reports and progress certification for invoice validation to support invoice processing and control
Required Qualifications and Experience:
* Ideally a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant subject
* Track record and proven competency as a Senior Planner, experience will have been gained working on Turnarounds on Refinery, Chemical or Petrochemical plants
* Must be fluent in French
* Experienced user of Primavera |
