JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB SCOPE:
Administer, monitor/test, and document UBS fluids program and implementation of QHSE procedures for the U.S. Region. Involved in on-site operations as well as preliminary planning and end of well reporting phase.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Promote safety awareness and comply with all applicable safety procedures and regulations.
Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.
Perform pre-job Quality Control Testing of all stimulation fluids, chemicals and proppant per WFT standards.
Perform pre-and post- job chemical, fluid and proppant inventories.
Complete all appropriate QC documentation per WFT standards
Communicate test results to Field Engineer and Supervisor who will pass on the information to the client.
Supports technology transfer and applies best practices.
Maintain field lab equipment and van in good clean working order.
Work with region lab personnel or Chemist to perform basic product QC testing, job preparation testing and other duties deemed necessary by District Engineer.
Perform duties according to the documented Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual. Standard Operating Procedures and Work Place Instructions.
Perform various other duties assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
QUALIFICATIONS
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
2-5 years Fracturing/ Stimulation experience in service company or oilfield operating company.
Knowledge of or ability to learn WFT blending and pumping equipment.
Knowledge of or ability to learn testing procedures for all products or systems being pumped on assigned job sites.
Ability to communicate test results (oral, written skills).
Ability to work flexible work schedule, including long and / or irregular hours.
Computer Skills including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Adobe.
Lab testing procedures experience (if not an experienced applicant)
The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations.
Preferred:
Bachelor’s Degree in a Technical Discipline
