Job Description
Fugro Marine Services (FMS) is a rapidly expanding Fugro operating company responsible for the management of the Fugro fleet. This fleet consists of various types of offshore vessels ranging from survey to geo-technical drill vessels. In addition FMS provides maritime expertise to Fugro at large. The continued growth and success of FMS is the reason that we are constantly looking to employ more personnel for our onshore operations.
To ensure our vessels are equipped by a complete and correct Planned Maintenance System, to ensure we can provide reliable vessels with excellent availability at all times, our Fleet Management team is currently looking for a keen and results-driven
Maintenance Superintendent
for our office in Leidschendam, Netherlands
(m/f, full-time, temporary for 7 months)
Roles And Responsibilities
The Maintenance Superintendent works in close cooperation with and instructs a Data Team in order to coordinate, implement and update equipment data, preventive maintenance routines, inventory setup and further related responsibilities:
· Determine the required maintenance for all installed equipment;
· Create work order instructions based on the required maintenance for all installed equipment;
· Determine which spare parts are required for all installed equipment and create part lists;
· Create work order instructions based on the FMS management manual related to ISM, SOLAS etc;
· Index all manuals, drawings and vessel related documents;
· Ensure all tasks are conducted in compliance with Fugro policies, manuals and other relevant international legislative and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
Our ideal candidate is an experienced and creative seafarer who has been working as engineer or officer, and who aims to achieve greatest efficiency in maintenance concepts. They have a keen eye for the day-to-day operation of a vessel, have team spirit and are determined to get the job done. Minimum requirements for the role are:
· Experience as engineer or maritime officer on board a sea-going vessel, or as assistant-technical superintendent of a sea-going vessel;
· A good working knowledge of industry legislation (STCW, Marpol, ISM etc);
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English;
· Bachelor degree and/or higher education working level;
· Experience of working with MS Office software;
· Experience in and knowledge of Planned Maintenance Systems.
