Our client, an international Oil and Gas Operator are looking for a Production Planner to be based near Metz, France. The role will be offered with a long term contract and negotiable daily rate or monthly salary.
Job Overview:
As Production Planner you'll be responsible for Sales and Operation Planning (S&OP) process management for 3 product lines.
Responsibilities:
* Propose and implement process, operations and tool improvements
* Participate in logistics and operational optimization projects
* Analyze sales forecasts, share key findings and alert for major deviations
* Develop and implement tools to improve sales forecasting (statistical model, …)
* Manage the "Demand Planning" activity of the product lines
* Prepare and conduct monthly S&OP meetings
* Provide to the Sales Manager and the Business Line Managers (BLM) with a clear view of the supply situation of the product lines
* Provide visibility to 18 months of the evolution of sales forecasts, their relevance and the evolution of inventories.
Experience:
* Ideally have a degree within Engineering, Supply Chain or related subject
* Experience gained working within Production Planning or Demand Planning ideally within the Petrochemical, FMCG or related industries. |
