Airswift is currently searching for a Subsea Pipeline Engineer to work on various offshore projects.

Profile and skills

You are an engineer (general mechanics, resistance of materials, hydrodynamics,
geotechnical, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, structure and / or naval and maritime architecture). For
confirmed positions, you have a successful experience in an industry trade
parapetroleum.

You have the passion for our industry, the motivation to join us, and you want

The post

You will join an international team of around thirty employees, you will be assigned to a

project working group. Your missions will cover several phases: response to calls for tenders, studies

retail, project realization.

You report functionally to the person responsible for underwater pipeline engineering, and

operationally to the engineer responsible for these project activities. In particular, you will be required to

participate or lead:

reviews of documents and technical specifications of our customers, writing

description of the infrastructure proposed during the tender phase.

Active participation in engineering and human, environmental and

economic.

The resolution of interfaces with other infrastructures or other disciplines.

The architecture of the field, the definition of the roads according to the soil, the bathymetry,

obstacles, approaches, installation method, curve stability.

The quantities of materials and equipment required such as tubes, elbows, forgings.

Technical negotiation and purchasing support from our suppliers around the world.

Study and detailed design of the pipes (eg dimensioning, materials, coatings),

certain specific components, installation conditions, vertical stability linked to

soil imperfections in the different phases of use, filling and burial.

The detailed design of pipeline crossing works, span supports,

structures to protect pipes against falling objects (anchors, drill pipes,

containers, etc.), isometric final parts intended to accommodate the elongations in

end of line ("spools & jumpers").

Fatigue resistance analyzes (sea currents, starting and restarting of

production, the history of stresses induced in the line during the installation phases,

pre-boot or production.)

Calculations of thermal elongation, anchor length and estimation of stresses

compression induced by soil resistance and analyzes related to buckling of pipes

under pressure and temperature constraints.

any works to control buckling and instability phenomena related to

several buckling cycles ("pipeline walking").

Project feedback, consolidation and maintenance of technical tools and monitoring

technological development of the profession.
