Offshore Operations Superintendent
Long term Project (4-5 years)
FLNG Project
Contract position
The position shall ensure that operational activites are planned and in place, in accordance with Class, project specifications, codes and standards and Mozambique regulations. The role requires extensive hands on and supervisory/management experience (i.e. 15+ years) on offshore operational facilities, preferably FPSO/FSO, shipyard and project positions. The role requires someone who is a team player, but is able to work independently to achieve project deliverables.
Home Office Phase - During this design phase, the role will be required to develop robust processes and procedures for all operational activities to ensure operational success during the different Shipyard and Offshore phases of the project.
Execution Phase - With the focus being on HSE, the position will be responsible for the overall coordination and support of all operational team activities during the shipyard phase. The role will ensure that competent personnel are placed across the operating teams to ensure a high level and balance of competency and experience across the operating teams.
Start up and Operations will then be in an African location where this position will be the Operations/ Production Superintendent role.
Must have:
* Strong background in Production/ Operations and on FPSO's/ FSO.
* Operations Readiness/ Commissioning experience.
* Experience of Yard/ shipyard operations.
* Minimum 15 years of experience.
* Must have right to work in the EU.
