|
I am recruiting for an experienced HSE Manager to be based in North Africa for an independent E&P company on a rotational basis (1 month on/ 1 off).
You will provide active leadership and coaching to a team of HSE Prevention Engineers that ensures the structure and technical knowledge of the team are capable of prioritizing support to deliver business objectives and ensure compliance.
Contribute to and support the implementation of the HSE strategic and tactical plans, combined with the advancement of cultural development and continuous improvement of HSE practices, in alignment with regulatory requirements, industry standards and global best practices
Support processes that ensure the effective management of Major Accident Hazard Barriers during the lifecycle of the asset. You will be the primary contact and conduit for the effective implementation of appropriate HSE processes, in conjunction with Line Management e.g. Control of Work, Management of Change etc.
You will be the primary HSE contact for Contractor population, establishing standards and expectations for all aspects of HSE, applicable to their specific scope of delivery. Manage and support the implementation of the HSE audit and inspection program for onsite and offsite facilities
Candidates must be a proven leader in HSE, have African project experience, speak fluent French and English (Arabic an advantage). Must have HSE hydrocarbon processing plant experience, upstream oil and gas processing, HSE management systems and strong coaching/training experience.
African JV project experience is essential along with working knowledge of process risk identification, management, process safety principles, HSE management systems, emergency response management, incident management and HSE auditing techniques.
