On behalf of one of our clients, a Major EPC Contractor within the renewables market, we are currently recruiting for a Tender Engineer for their Subsea Cables and Flexibles division. In the role you will be joining a highly skilled team of ambitious professionals who demand the best of themselves and others. Key responsibilities
* Analysing Client's request for proposals * Lead the complete engineering cycle for small or less complex projects and you will lead parts of the engineering for medium to complex projects * Translate client requirements to optimal design both technically end economically * Assist with Subcontractor/Supplier selection and play a key part in assembling the full tender package including both commercial and technical aspects eg method statements, planning
Experience/Profile
* Higher Professional Education (Bachelor) in a technical discipline * At least 8 years' relevant experience in an offshore (oil and gas and/or renewables) and/or nearshore / maritime environment * Willing to travel and willing to stay abroad during the execution phase of the project (currently in the European region but expected to expand worldwide) * Advanced knowledge of ICT office- and planning applications and basic knowledge of drafting applications * Good communication skills and a good knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken
The office is based in the South of the Netherlands so we would only be able to consider applicants who already live in the region or are open to relocation.
