BUYER
Our client, a leading O&G Contractor, is looking for an experienced buyer who has specific experience in offshore construction projects with specific interest in Transport and Installation related projects.
Duration: 12 months
Location: London
Start Date: ASAP
Rate: Negotiable
Job Requirements:
* Developing Bidders Lists and issue Request for Quotations.
* Prepare the commercial bid tabulation to compare different proposals and suggest actions to be taken in order to improve bid results and/or select the Supplier.
* Lead the commercial/economic negotiations.
* Prepare and issue Purchase Orders and Contract.
* Close out the bid process receiving purchase/contract confirmation by selected Supplier and informing the unsuccessful Suppliers about negative result of their bid.
* Follow up and negotiate, if necessary, purchase order/subcontract revisions
* Perform the assigned activities in compliance with procedures and provided systems and tools
* Knowledge in Procurement for EPCI Projects including the purchase of high complexity service and material Purchase order/Contracts for the fabrication yards.
* Manage and perform any other tasks required Procurement Supervisor/Manager.
Software Used:
* Microsoft Office
* Experience in SAP is preferred
Qualifications and experience:
* Full understanding and experience of the complete Supply Chain process is necessary.
* Degree, MCIPS or equivalent is advantageous
* Sound commercial/contractual knowledge with regard to procurement of goods and services. |
