|
CONTRACT ENGINEER: SUBSEA PRODUCTION SYSTEM SERVICES
Our client, a global Oil & Gas operator, are looking for a Contract Engineer to join them in Paris within their Subsea Production System (SPS) Category.
Duration: 12 months
Location: Paris, travel may be required from time to time
Start Date: 5th November 2018
Rate: Negotiable
Job Requirements:
Issuance of the Global Call for Tender (CFT):
* Work with the SPS Services Segment, the legal team and the technical duet
* Draft the cover frame of the future agreement
* Draft the legal Terms and Conditions of the specimen contract
* Coordinate the issuance of the technical exhibits
* Participate to the pre-qualification process of the bidders
* Participate in the organization and preparation of meetings with suppliers
* Participate in the organization and preparation of meetings with affiliates
* Send out the Global CFT to the bidders
* Coordinate the Request For Clarification process during the tender phase
Clarification and evaluation of the Call for Tender (CFT):
* Prepare and document evaluation process of the tenders and ensure approval is obtained before receipt of the bids
* Participate to the development of the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) methodology
* Receive the responses to the CFT, analyze them, ask for clarifications (where required)
* Manage the contractual and commercial clarifications with the suppliers
* Coordinate the technical clarifications
* Participate to the commercial and legal evaluations
* Manage the contractual evaluation
* Coordinate the technical evaluation
* Participate to the issuance of Recommendation To Award (RTA) and ensure approval of the RTA from the appropriate bodies
* Ensure compliance with applicable process and tools, including document management.
Contract Award:
* Issue the final Frame Agreements (issuance of legal T&Cs, commercial exhibits and drafting of technical exhibits).
* Prepare handover of the Frame Agreements to the affiliates and projects
* Participate in the drafting of the Frame Agreements governance
* Participate in the preparation of the internal approval processes
* Prepare the final contract documents for signature and ensure sign off from legal where required.
* Ensure signatures from both parties are obtained on time
Experience required:
* Experience in Oil & Gas industry
* Experience in Exploration & Production Services Contracts
* Experience with tendering process
* Strong contractual and commercial skills
* A deep understanding of the CFT and contract structures for these types of contracts, as well as a good understanding of applicable contract law.
* Fluent in English, French is a plus |
